Exchange Warranty Products
Epson Express is a revolutionary Technical warranty concept from Epson which came into effect in July 2000. Epson Express provides customers with access to free, face-to-face problem assessment and advice from Epson-trained professionals. Depending on the diagnosis, you will benefit from simple trouble-shooting, speedy product repair or even replacement. Epson Express Centre will also stock a comprehensive range of retail consumables and accessories to get your printer restocked with original ink and media.
How the EPSON Express Service works
If you are experiencing a problem with your Epson product, simply visit your nearest Epson Express Service Centre and an Epson-trained engineer will put the following step-by-step process into action:
1.) Warranty confirmed.
Your proof of purchase and warranty details will be confirmed and matched to your product. (Where not applicable, alternative service advice will be provided).
2.) Reported problem investigated.
The product will be examined and the extent of the problem and possible causes assessed.
3.) First possible resolution – problem solved for original printer.
If no service parts or assembly changes are required, the problem will be cleared. For driver related problems, a free copy of the latest EPSON print driver will be provided. There will be no fee for repair or evaluation
4.) Second possible resolution – printer replaced.
If the problem cannot be fixed on the original product, your product will be replaced b with a service exchange refurbished unit. ( should you wish to keep your original product you will be referred to an authorised service provider).
5.) Warranty administration.
At the conclusion of the process, the Epson Express service centre will complete a comprehensive service form, and you will be asked to sign and confirm your satisfaction, and to add any additional comments. All existing proof of purchase and warranty details will then be updated accordingly with new serial number information.
